I
Elevé par Citrasena, avec dévotion envers le bienheureux Śambhu et avec l’autorisation de ses parents […]

Translation by Kunthea Chhom

I
Victorious is the liṅga of Śambhu having been installed by Citrasena with devotion towards Lord Śambhu [and] with the permission from his parents.

Commentary

This inscription is identical to three inscriptions, viz. K. 122, K. 1338 and K. 1458.

The translation by George Cœdès is incomplete because it is based on the estampage EFEO n. 190 which contains only the first three pādas of the stanza.

The stela has been broken into two fragments. The upper one has three pādas and the lower one one pāda.

Bibliography

Edited by George Cœdès (1937–1966, vol. 2, p. 134) with a French translation; re-edited here by Gerdi Gerschhiemer and Kunthea Chhom based on the estampage EFEO n. 190 and a photograph by Michel Tranet.
