Commentary
The columns a and b of the stanzas I-VI in anuṣṭubh meter correspond to the column a of the stanzas VII-VIII in upajāti and mālinī meters; the columns c and d of the stanza I-VI correspond to the column b of the stanzas VII-VIII.
George Cœdès’ edition and translation of the Sanskrit portion of the inscription are almost identical to those of Auguste Barth, except the translation of the stanza VI.
