60 <p>The lettering is characteristic of the seventh century CE. There is a graving of a blooming lotus flower on the top of the stela and another graving of a lotus bud in the middle space of lines 5-8. There is a line of circles dividing the Sanskrit portion from the Khmer one.</p>
· <p>The left and right textparts seem to be trial engravings which were not meant to be visible in the original context of exposition of the stone.

Commentary
Cœdès read as Puyāṅ, Puneṅ and Puvāṅ the names occurring in lines 17, 21, 23 and 32 that we tentatively analyze as consisting of an honorific particle pu (known in Old Cham) plus names Yāṅ, Neṅ and Vāṅ.
The name sra Kuṇḍalā figuring in line 28 here is also found in K. 719.
It seems that the word tpal is usually followed, directly or with some intervening words, by the numeral I. It is based on this pattern that we follow Cœdès in supplying the numeral at the end of line 25. The sole exception to the pattern is then the occurrence of tpal in line 19.
