Commentary

The text is too fragmentary to be translated. In line 1, it seems to speak of ’undertaking a vow until very old’ (dr̥m̃ vrata tam̃l· mahāvr̥ddha). In line 3, the inscription shows the last part of a chronogram, paritaśaśadhara, which unfortunately only reveals the figure for the thousands (śaśadhara, meaning ’moon’, denotes the value 1).
