Commentary
(A12) It seems the stone-carver has attempted to efface a mistake. A faint subscript ṅ is discernible, as is a virāma above what seems to be an akṣara dā that itself shows traces of being the result of a change of plan midway the engraving process of this sign, notably a vertical element to its right almost invisible on the estampage but discernible on the stone. The possibly intended readings seem to be madā, madṅār·, maddan·.
(A15) Urā nan was corrected in Urāṅ· nan. Finot: Urā(ṅ) nan. But there is certainly no trace of any ṅ. The stone-carver again seems to have made secondary changes here, for the stone shows a slight depression.
(B2) javālamvījut· : instead of j...j, b...b, and even other consonants, would also be imaginable.
(B2–B3) Asov· vañāk· ñū ṇḍauy· Inā Urāṅ· nan·. A similar phrase can be found in the inscription C. 108, l. B6-B7: Asov· vañak· ndoy· Inā Urāṅ· nan·
(B3) ṇḍauy·: one could also read ṇdauy, as does Finot, although the subscript consonant is identical to the one in mataṇḍāḥ in l. 4.
(B5) panakai: one has the impression that the stone carver started to write nu, but effaced the vocalization to regain na. Cf. panakai on face c, l. 4.
(B10) nvaus·: or read cvaus·? cvaup·? nvaup·?
(B11) timuḥ: for tijuḥ?
