Translation

⟨1⟩ Hail! Prosperity! This is the sixth regnal year of king Tribhuvana-cakravarti Vīrarājendra-cōḻa.

⟨1⟩ The endowment (vipavam) which Vāṇarāyapēraiyaṉ, alias Kōvaṉ Vaḷaiyamaḻakiyāṉ, has allocated (is to be given) for those ⟨ritual articles⟩, including the food supply fixed (paṭi-v-iṭṭu) ⟨for singing⟩ the tiruccāḻal hymn and for the food offering (tiru-v-amutu paṭikkum) to the goddess Āḷuṭaiya-Nācciyār ⟨of the temple of⟩ god Nalla-Nāyanār.

⟨1–2⟩ The apportioned (koṇṭuvarukiṟa) share (vāku) is allotted to four people so that the vēli ⟨of land is given⟩, which was previously mentioned (muṉṉaṭi kūvi eṉṟu) as being within the temple endowments (tēvatāṉaṅkaḷil) for this god.

⟨2⟩ I have inscribed it in stone after pouring water over the sacred feet of the goddess Āḷuṭaiya Nācciyār. I, Vāṇarāyapēraiyaṉ, alias Kōvaṉ Vaḷaiyamaḻakiyāṉ, am the one declaring this:

⟨2⟩ “Let the sin of killing one thousand tawny cows on the banks of the Ganges fall upon whoever violates it,” which is under the oath (cattiyam) of Vallavaraiyaṉ.

⟨2⟩ ⟨This is⟩ under the protection of the holy māheśvaras (śrī māheśvara rakṣai)
