Translation

⟨1⟩ Prosperity! Fortune!

⟨1–3⟩ This is the sixth year of king Tribhuvana-cakravarti Vīrarājendra.

⟨3–8⟩ I, Vaṇakōvaraiyaṉ, Rājarāja-deva, Lord (nāyaṉar) and feudatory (uṭaiya) from Āṟakaḷūr situated in Kīḻāṟṟūr, a subdivision (kūṟṟattu) of the Jananātha-vaḷa-nāṭu in Milāṭu, have given as devadana to Nalla-nāyaṉar, Lord of Nallūr, the village (ūr āvatu) after entering in the register of the temple (tiruvariyil) and engraved on stone.

⟨8–10⟩ [That is the village of] Kaccuvakkuṭi, with its wet and dry lands, located in Kīḻāṟṟūr, a subdivision kūṟṟattu of the Jananātha-vaḷa-nāṭu in Milāṭu.

⟨10=13⟩ As regards to this village (ivvūṟ paṭi), whatever lies in the four boundaries included in the devadanam, the petty taxes (kiḻiṟai paṭṭam), tank associated [taxes] (paṉar kuṭṭai), and the village watching tax (pāṭikāval), shall not be taken (koḷḷa kaṭavatu allātu ākavum).

⟨13–16⟩ In this way (ippaṭikku), after pouring water on the holy feet of Nalla-nāyaṉar, I, Vāṇakōvaraiyāṉ, alias Makatai Nāṭāḻvāṉ, land-owner from * * *, have given [this village].

⟨16⟩ This is under the protection of the paṉmāheśvaras.
