· <p>Hail ! Prosperity ! In the 13th year of (<hi rend="italic">the reign of</hi>) king <hi rend="bold">Pārthivēndrādivarman</hi>, I, <hi rend="bold">Maṉṉaṉ Kaṇṇaṉ</hi> <hi rend="italic">alias</hi> <hi rend="bold">Kāmāmōga-Vāraṇappēraraiyaṉ</hi>, an elephant mahout who rides behind the king (<hi rend="italic">perumāḷ</hi>), purchased from the god two thousand <hi rend="italic">kuḻi</hi> (<hi rend="italic">measured</hi>) by the rod of <hi rend="bold">Śiṟṟiyāṟṟūr</hi> out of (<hi rend="italic">the land</hi>) <hi rend="bold">Vaḍavāyēttam</hi> in <hi rend="bold">Śiṟṟiyāṟṟūr</hi> in <hi rend="bold">Mēlappaḷugūr-nāḍu</hi>, (<hi rend="italic">a subdivision</hi>) of <hi rend="bold">Maṇayil-kōṭṭam</hi>, which the prosperous god (<hi rend="italic">āḻvār</hi>) of <hi rend="bold">Gōvindapāḍi</hi> had purchased, and gave (<hi rend="italic">the land</hi>) for feeding daily one Brāhmaṇa with sumptuous meal in the <hi rend="italic">maṭha</hi> as long as the moon and the sun (<hi rend="italic">endure</hi>), to (<hi rend="italic">i.e.</hi>, under the care of) <hi rend="bold">Vaishṇavadāsa</hi> who was managing the temple business (<hi rend="italic">śrīkārya</hi>) of the prosperous god (<hi rend="italic">perumāṉaḍigaḷ</hi>) that was pleased to stand at <hi rend="bold">Gōvindapāḍi</hi> in <hi rend="bold">Valla-nāḍu</hi>, (<hi rend="italic">a subdivision</hi>) of <hi rend="bold">Dāmar-kōṭṭam</hi>. This charity is placed under the protection of the <hi rend="italic">śrī-Vaishṇavas</hi>.</p>
