· <p>Hail ! Prosperity ! In the 10th year of (<hi rend="italic">the reign of</hi>) king <hi rend="bold">Pārthivēndrādivarman</hi> who took the head of <hi rend="bold">Vīra-Pāṇḍya</hi>, I . . . . . . . . <hi rend="bold">Nāgaṉ Vāṇarājaṉ Aḷagamaiyaṉ</hi> gave, as long as the moon and sun (<hi rend="italic">last</hi>), ninety-six sheep which will neither die nor grow old, for one perpetual lamp to the prosperous god of <hi rend="bold">Gōvindapāḍi</hi> in . . . . (<hi rend="italic">a subdivision</hi>) of <hi rend="bold">Dāmar-kōṭṭam</hi>. This charity (<hi rend="italic">shall be under the</hi>) protection of the <hi rend="italic">Śrīvaishṇavas</hi>.</p>
