35 <p>In the 7th year of (<hi rend="italic">the reign of</hi>) king <hi rend="bold">Pārthivē[ndrādhipativarman]</hi> who took the head of the <hi rend="bold">Pāṇḍya</hi> (<hi rend="italic">king</hi>), the assembly of <hi rend="bold">[Uttaramēru-cha]turvēdimaṅgalam</hi> declared some lands of the temple of <hi rend="bold">Kurukshētra</hi> at that village tax-free, on receiving <hi rend="italic">pūrvāchāram</hi> from a certain <hi rend="bold">Ammāṭṭi Śiṟṟambalavaṉ</hi> of <hi rend="bold">Perumpaṭṭaṉam</hi> in <hi rend="bold">Paṭṭaṉa-nāḍu</hi>. The temple of <hi rend="bold">Kurukshētra</hi> has been already referred to in No. 160 above.</p>

In the 7th year of (<hi rend="italic">the reign of</hi>) king <hi rend="bold">Pārthivē[ndrādhipativarman]</hi>, who took the head of the <hi rend="bold">Pāṇḍya</hi> (<hi rend="italic">king), (this is</hi>) [the writing] of us (<hi rend="italic">the members</hi>) of the great assembly of <hi rend="bold">[Uttaramēru-cha]turvēdimaṅgalam</hi> in its own subdivision in <hi rend="bold">Kāliyūr-kōṭṭam</hi>.
