35 <p>In the 5th year of <hi rend="bold">Pārthivēndrādhipativarman</hi> who took the head of <hi rend="bold">Vīra Pāṇḍya</hi>, the members of the assembly of <hi rend="bold">Uttaramēru-chaturvēdimaṅgalam</hi> gave certain lands in their village as <hi rend="italic">Vishaharabhōga</hi> for the maintenance of a physician who removed (<hi rend="italic">snake ?</hi>) poison. Inasmuch as at the end of line 5 it is stipulated that he who has obtained the order of the members of the assembly shall alone enjoy the land, it is probable that the lands in question were assigned only to experts in that profession.</p>
