In the 11th year (<hi rend="italic">of the reign</hi>) of the emperor of the three worlds, <hi rend="bold">Śrī-Kōnērimēlkoṇḍa-Kulōttuṅga-Śōḻadēva,</hi><note>The title Kōṉērimēlkoṇḍāṉ was borne by Vīra-Chōḷa (p. 47 above), and that of Kōṉērimēnkoṇḍa by Kulōttuṅga III. (Vol. I. p. 136).</note> —I, <hi rend="bold">Śeṅgēṇi Ammaiappaṉ Kaṇṇuḍaipperumāṉ</hi>,<note>The same name is partially preserved at the beginning of text line 2 of No. <ref target="DHARMA_INSSIIv01p0i0132">132</ref> of Vol. I.</note> <hi rend="italic">alias</hi> <hi rend="bold">Vikrama-Śōḻa-Śambuvarāyaṉ</hi>, gave to the god the internal revenue of the temple of the lord <hi rend="bold">Tiruvallam-uḍaiyār</hi>, the taxes in paddy and the taxes in money accruing from the external revenue due from (the fields called) <hi rend="italic">Vaḍakaṇḍam</hi> and <hi rend="italic">Kamugaḍi</hi>, the tax on looms,<note>Compare above, Vol. I. pp. 88, 89 and 108.</note> the tax on <hi rend="italic">Ājīvikas,</hi><note>See <hi rend="italic">ibid.</hi> p. 88, note 5.</note> all the revenue of <hi rend="bold">Tīkkāli-Vallam</hi>, the minor taxes<note>The term <foreign>cilvari</foreign> occurs also in Vol. I. Nos. 59 and 61.</note> and (the fines called) <hi rend="italic">kuṟṟam</hi> and <hi rend="italic">daṇḍa</hi>, including the share of the village accountant and the share and tax of the temple accountant.</p>

· <p>(L. 8.) He who obstructs this charity, shall incur the sin of killing a tawny cow between the <hi rend="bold">Gaṅgā</hi> and <hi rend="bold">Kumari</hi>.</p>
