Commentary

See ARIE 2018-2019 (p. 3): “No. B. 373, is engraved on the western inner wall of the bridge in the channel at Dēvasthānam (Pēṭṭaivāitalai) in Tiruchirappalli district of Tamil Nadu in Tamil language and characters of about 9th century A.D. The inscription is damaged and seems to be issued by the Pallava king Nandivarman III. It refers to the installation of an image of Nandi by the king.”
