(1) Prosperity! Fortune!

(1–2) Seventh year of the victorious king Aparājitavarmaṉ.1

(3–7) The gold that ... has given for burning one perpetual lamp for the Mahādeva of Tiruvoṟṟiyūr: tirthy kaḻañcus of a purity [tested] on the village [touch]stone.

(7–10) We are bound to take this gold, we, the members of the assembly, and we, the Amṛtagaṇattārs of Ātampākkam, in a hamlet of Tiruvoṟṟiyūr, in the Puliyūrkkōṭṭam.

(11–18) We have become those who will give ...

(18–21) We have become those who will give daily two rice [meals] to he who comes ...

(21–24) If failing ... we have become those who incur a fine of eight and a half kāṇams ...

(24–26) We have become those who will ...

(26–30) We have become those who will ... we, the members of the assembly, and we, the Amṛtagaṇattārs of the above-mentioned Ātampākkam.
