Translation

⟨1⟩ Prosperity! Fortune!

⟨1⟩ Twenty-third year.

⟨1⟩ To the Noble (ayyaṉ) Kampa-perumāṉār.¹

⟨1⟩ This is the manner that We, the members of the assembly of Uttaramērucaturvedimaṅgala in the Kāliyūrkkōṭṭam and the division of the same name (taṉ kūṟṟu²), took gold and paddy, and solemnly gave ⟨them⟩.

⟨1–2⟩ With (koṇṭu³) forty kaḻañcus of fine gold ⟨as per⟩ the village stone (ūr-k-kal, i.e. touch-stone) and one thousand kāṭis of paddy as per the eṇṇāḻikkāl ⟨standard⟩ (eṇṇāḻi-k-kāl-āl), let there be feeding of one thousand Brahmins at the time of Cōti (Sanskrit Svāti) (cōti-ñāṉṟu) in the lunar month (tiṅkaḷ) of Āvaṇi (āvaṇi) with the interest (poli-y-ūṭṭ-iṉ-āl) of this ⟨itaṉ⟩.

⟨2⟩ The manner of feeding (ūṭṭum paricu) ⟨is as follows⟩.

⟨2⟩ Let there be feeding, by distributing (ceytu aṭṭi⁴) four curries (kaṟi) ⟨made with⟩ mixing (viravi) ⟨various⟩ plants (mutirai), ⟨one⟩ āḻākku of ghee as per the mey ⟨standard⟩ (me-y-yāl) , and ⟨one⟩ nāḻi of …viravukiḻāṉ curd (tayir) .

⟨2–3⟩ Let, on the same day (iñ-ñāḷ-āl-ē), make the great bath (mahāsnapaṉa, i.e. Sanskrit mahāsnapana) of the Mahādeva of Tirupullivalam.
