(1) Prosperity! Fortune!

(2–6) Twenty-first year of Nantippōttaraiyar1 who destroyed Teḷḷāṟu.

(6–13) The gold given for burning two lamps for the Lord Mahādeva of Tiruppāṟṟurai [is] sixty kaḻañcus.

(13–20) With this gold, We, the members of the assembly of Tiruppāṟṟurai are those who will have two perpetual lamps lit without default.

(20–21) This is under the protection of the Pa[ṉmāheśvara]s.

Commentary

This appears to be a later copy of an original of the 9th century, as indicated by Cōḻa-period placenames (updated to the time of the copy).
