May Rājasiṁha (the lion among kings) Raṇajaya (the victorious one among kings)

Śrībhara (the Fortune-bearer) Citrakārmuka (he whose quiver is a wonder)

Ekavīra (the unique hero) Śivacūḍāmaṇi (he who has Śiva as diadem) protect the earth for long.

Puisse Rājasiṁha, le vainqueur au combat,

Celui qui apporte la prospérité, celui qui possède un arc resplendissant,

Le héros unique, longtemps protéger la terre,

Lui qui porte Śiva comme diadème !

Commentary

The same verse is found in two other inscriptions of Narasiṁhavarman II. See Pallava 54 (stanza 12) and Pallava 60 (stanza 3).
