Hail! Prosperity! In the ... ... ... ... year of Tribhuvanaccakravartikaḷ Śri Kulōttuṅga Cōla Dēvar: Whereas Kōnāṭṭu Pallavadaraiyan, also called Kai ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ḍaiyan, of Koḍumbāḷūṟ in the Uṟattūr Kūṟṟam of the K(aḍalaḍaiyādilaṅgaiko)ṇḍa cōḻavaḷanāḍu, perished in a strife(kuḻumi) in Periyakuḷam, I, Kunṟan Āḷuḍaiyān, made this endowment of 50 sheep to keep alight a lamp on his behalf. May this be protected by the Māhēśvaras.

Translation

⟨1⟩ Prosperity! Fortune!

⟨1–2⟩ […] year of the glorious king Kulottuṅga, the emperor of the three worlds.

⟨3–4⟩ Whereas Pallavataraiyaṉ of Kōṉāṭu, alias the lord of […] ... of Koṭumpāḷūr, in the Uṟattūrkūṟṟam, in the [Iraṭṭapāṭi]koṇṭacōḻavaḷanāṭu, fell (paṭa) ... [there are] 50 goats that ... gave.

⟨4–5⟩ [This] pious donation (tammam1) of the lord Kuṉṟaṉ [is under the] protection of the paṉmāheśvarars.
