Apparatus
⟨2⟩ sisiniA • The meaning of this epithet, which might also occur previously in the lines is unclear. Could it correspond to Skt. svavāsinī, which in much later Kumaunī is, according to Turner 1962–1966, s.v. sisiṇī alongside sīsṇī? — ⟨2⟩ pava(y)[.] • This is likely to be restored pavayit[āya] or, perhaps less likely, pavayit[asa].

In the 4th year of ⟨king⟩ Gotamīputta Siri-Vijayasātakaṇṇi, in the 2nd fortnight of summer, on the … day … [gift of] … and Buddhā, the wife (sisiṇī?), ⟨and⟩ ... the wife (sisiṇī?), ⟨and⟩ Toḍhikheḍikā, the nun (pavayitā?)…
