⟨1⟩ pava[y](i)[ta](sa)pava[jita](sa) N+vH • The proposed restoration is better supported by the orthography of the term at the site. See KnI0078, l. 1: [pa]vayitasa. It is also phonologically closer to pavaItasa (then misread by Nakanishi and von Hinüber 2014) adopted, to characterise the same monk, in KnI0013.
