Edition

⟨1⟩ seṭhino (mā)tuya Isilaṇ(i)kāya seḍivay(i)kāya dāna(ṁ)

Apparatus

⟨1⟩ seṭhino • The third akṣara could also be read ṇa. — ⟨1⟩ (mā)tuya • In this cursive hand, the first akṣara is especially unclear, and but for the context its reading would be uncertain. On the sequence seṭhino mātuya, compare Tsukamoto Keishō 塚本啓祥 1996, № Sanc 111, № Sanc 112. — ⟨1⟩ Isilaṇ(i)kāya • Cf. KnI0084, ll. 1-2: Is(i)lanikāya. See also KnI0294. In both inscriptions, the donor is also characterised as seḍivayikāya.

Translation by Vincent Tournier

Gift of Isilaṇṇikā from Seḍivaya, who is the mother of a guild’s chief.

Commentary

Same donor in KnI 84.
