Apparatus
⟨1⟩ [8+] [ṇa] [2+] [1×] [2+] sasa bhaya [1×] ma ⬦ [3+]bhayata sama G; [9+]bhayata sama Tsk • The reading bhayata is possible (although the eye copy rather looks like bhayava), however there are only four akṣaras (not five) in this sequence.
⟨2⟩ [7+] (p)[.] [1+] gāme gorap[1×](kake)su bāṁṇa pati ⬦ [3+] na pati (deya)dhama G; [9+] na pati (deya)dhama Tsk • Gokhale notes that “West has recorded the letters gami gorapa (present =Gorad)”, however she still does not count the missing akṣaras correctly. The deyadhama is from a phantom third line that Gokhale likely fabricated to “make sense” of the inscription. See Martini 2023.
