Soucieux du bien des autres, pour surveiller (lokana = avalokana?) les Trois Mondes, il a érigé la pierre, dans la quinzaine claire ... [de l’année] śaka [exprimée comme] (8) formes, (5) flèches, (7) chevaux (donc en 758 śaka).

Commentary
We find a small number of irregularities of sandhi: -jñaḥ Ādya- and mūrttiḥ-bā-. Straddling the caesura, we see that sandhi is alternatively applied (a -yaśo / dig-), or not applied (b -dāntaḥ / ripu-, c -nārthaḥ / Apara-).
