Translation
⟨1⟩ Lord Śākyamuni.

This (iyam) image (pratimā) of the Sage (muneḥ) was made (kr̥tā) by the Sthavira called Dharmamr̥garāja, for the sake of ⟨the merit of⟩ (uddiśya) the elder (sthavira) Bhadanta Jinabhadra, who was his maternal uncle’s maternal uncle (mātula-mātula).

Suffering, the arising of suffering, and the transcendence of suffering, and the noble eightfold path, leading to the cessation of suffering that is peace/emancipation (khemopaśama).
