· <p rend="stanza" n="1">Īśāna, husband of Pārvatī <supplied reason="explanation"><foreign>pārvatīpatiḥ</foreign></supplied>, bearing a digit of the moon as his diadem <supplied reason="explanation"><foreign>indukalaamauliḥ</foreign></supplied>, is victorious over all <supplied reason="explanation"><foreign>jayati</foreign></supplied>, whose liṅga is venerated <supplied reason="explanation"><foreign>samarcitam</foreign></supplied> by the gods <supplied reason="explanation"><foreign>devaiḥ</foreign></supplied>, beginning with Brahmaa and Viṣṇu.</p>
· <p rend="stanza" n="2">The king Śrī Īśānavarman is like Acyuta Śrīnivāsa [/is, as it were, unfailing (acyutaḥ) and the abode of Majesty (śrīnivāsaḥ)], whose pair of feet <supplied reason="explanation"><foreign>caraṇadvayam</foreign></supplied> his vassal kings <supplied reason="explanation"><foreign>sāmantāḥ</foreign></supplied> constantly <supplied reason="explanation"><foreign>sadā</foreign></supplied> bow down before <supplied reason="explanation"><foreign>praṇamanti</foreign></supplied>.</p>
