215 <p rend="stanza" n="6">Sa beauté sans tache, qui rappelait la beauté de l'Amour, renouvelait dans son intégrité le chagrin de Rati.</p>

· <p rend="stanza" n="8">Loin de lui, les cœurs des rois touchaient la terre ; à son aspect, leurs têtes la touchaient aussi.</p>
· <p rend="stanza" n="9">Infligeant régulièrement la destruction aux terriens imprudents <seg rend="pun">ou aux rois rebelles</seg>, son terrible et invincible éclat devenait aussi pareil aux Eaux.</p>
· <p rend="stanza" n="10">Śrī, éprise de Śauri <supplied reason="explanation">Viṣṇu</supplied> qui ne s'éveille qu'à la fin de chaque saison des pluies, était louée chaque mois par les discours de ce roi toujours éveillé.</p>
220 <p rend="stanza" n="11">Même vieux, même privé de <supplied reason="subaudible">trois</supplied> pieds dans le Kaliyuga, le Dharma royal, s'appuyant sur sa forte politique, suivait son chemin sans chanceler.</p>
