Here I reported only the readings of the first edition; i.e. Srinivasan 1972 when they differ to our reading. In this case, I also report the reading of the edition of Tripathy 1997.

⟨1⟩ -saro(vara-pravāha)- Tsaro[2×]-prava(ha)- SPR. — ⟨1⟩ -śreṣṭha(mā)nyāṁ sva- T-śreṣṭhāyām-avanyāṁ sva- SPR.

Several possibilities of emandation can be suggested : a juxtaposition of two absolutives krītvā kr̥tvā, a scribal error with a repetition in which one of the two absolutives would be superfluous, an attempt of correction made by the scribe in order to change krītvā into kr̥tvā. Translation by Amandine Wattelier-Bricout

(40) And it is well-known in the treatise on Dharma:

I
The giver of land enjoys sixty thousand years in heaven; the one who challenges [a donation] as well as the one who approves [of the challenge] will reside as many [years] in hell.1
II
The one who would steal land given by himself or another becomes a worm in excrement and is cooked with his ancestors.2
III
You, Yudhiṣṭhira, most excellent of kings, must strenuously protect land previously given to brahmins. Safeguarding is even better than giving.3
IV
Land has been given by several kings beginning with Sagara. Whoever holds land at a given time, to him does the fruit belong.4
V
The Fathers are agitating and the Grand-Fathers are bounding [when they can say] “A giver of land is born within our lineage, sure, he will deliver us !”.5
VI
The Ādityas, the Vasus, the Rudras, Soma, Viṣṇu, Hutāśana (Agni) and the lord Daṇḍapāṇi (Yama) approve a giver of land.6
VII
If a virtuous wife with qualities makes a gift to someone whose blood is well-known and the one who applies it, by this perception, I purify both hundred times.7
VIII
The man who have committed sins since his (first) birth [and] for the next thousand (births), is purified by a gift of land, even measuring the size of a gocarman (literally a cow’s skin, here it is a unit of measurement).8
IX
Where a triad of one bull, one hundred of milk cows with their calves firmly stands, this is called a gocarman.9

According to Rajaguru 1963, the copperplate has been discovered in 1960 near a mound in the village Jayarāmpur in the Bhogorao sub-division, Balasore District, Orissa. First published by Rajaguru 1963. Re-edited here by Ryosuke Furui, Arlo Griffiths and Amandine Wattelier-Bricout based on photos of the plate furnished by Ryosuke Furui. The text has been encoded by Amandine Wattelier-Bricout using a draft edition created by Ryosuke Furui as starting point.
