cēlam⟨4⟩-āṉa Irājāśraya-{ś}ca⟨5⟩turvvedi-maṅkalattu ⟨6⟩ veḷḷāḷaṉ vaḷḷi⟨7⟩marutam-uṭaiyāṉ cā⟨8⟩ttaṉ māṉentiya⟨9⟩kaiyaṉ dharmmam· Ik⟨10⟩-kāl <pc>

(1) Prosperity! Fortune!

(2–4) 26th year of the king Sundara Pāṇḍya.

(4–10) This stone¹ [is] the pious donation (dharma) of the veḷḷāḷaṉ, magnate of (uṭaiyāṉ) Vaḷḷimarutam, from Rājāśrayacaturvedimaṅgala alias Cēlam.
