In l2 Mirashi prints naimalyā° (emending to nairmalyā°) in both his editions; the correct reading is naimmalyā°.
--><!--
L4. Mirashi says the visarga of bhagavataḥ is superfluous; since the space is between the visarga and the ś, I prefer to delete the ś.
--><!--
In l5, Mirashi emends the upadhmānīya to an anusvāra; I prefer to emend to m (since that would have been joined to the next letter like an upadhmānīya). I should also note that this bit is very unclear in the rubbing; I can well imagine that the correct reading is, after all, simply mpra instead of fpra.
--><!--
The punctuation character in l6, if it is one, is a short horizontal dash.
--></p>

The punctuation after grāma in l7 is a blotch on the rubbing; proably a dash originally.
--><!--
I retain Mirashi's reading of ṣadviṣati in l8. He suggests the emendation ṣaḍviṁśati (and likewise for ṣadviśaka in IN00159:7). I believe we could very well read ṣaḍ both here and in IN00159; I don't expect ḍ to look conspicuously different from d in this script; compare ṣoḍaśy (read as such by Mirashi) in IN00158:1.
--><!--
The punctuation in l8 is a double horizontal dash.
--><!--
Mirashi prints taittiriya in l9 with a single t in CII5; his transliteration is correctly tti in EI24.
--><!--
There is a very small space after taittiriya.
--></p>

The superfluous punctuation in l11 is a dash close to baseline height.
--><!--
For ihā in l11, Mirashi prints iha in CII5; his text is correctly ihā in EI24.
--><!--
As Mirashi points out in both EI and CII, atisr̥ṣṭaḥ in l12 does not agree with grāmadvayam above. He only proposes a correction to atisr̥ṣṭam, but neglects to mention that this may in fact be circumstantial evidence that this plate is a forgery. (However, what he reads as a visarga may in fact be punctuation, and then we only have to supply a missing anusvāra.)
